Midwife Justine completed her undergraduate degree in sociology with minors in biology and chemistry at the University of San Diego. She was planning on attending medical school when she stumbled upon midwifery. She fell in love with the holistic and patient centered approach.

She was asked to attend some births and she was immediately hooked! Justine jumped into an apprenticeship at a busy birth center where she completed her training and then worked full-time for four years. After the birth of her second child, she decided to slow things down and had a successful private practice since 2022.

She has delivered over 300 babies and attended more than 500 out of hospital births. She believes birth is unique and sacred to each patient and attempts to cater the experience to each individual family. She also deeply believes in the human body and prides herself in limited interventions unless absolutely necessary.

Justine has been married for 14 years and has three wonderful children. Her family loves to go camping in their RV and spend time outside. They have one backyard, family chicken, Hei Hei, that is very spoiled and a hermit crab, Mr. Crab, is honestly a nuisance, but has decided to live forever.
